TESTIMONIALS
I am a current dancer with Koresh but I haven’t been in a Graham class since college. I have to admit, I was nervous to step into a Graham class but Krystal was nothing short of amazing. She was very welcoming and kind. She gave me the confidence and encouragement to be myself, be brave, and take class again. She is so knowledgeable and informative about the Graham technique.! We, at Koresh, love her and would welcome Krystal back in our studio anytime!

What can I say of my dearest most amazing former mentor lovable dance teacher Mrs. Krystal Hall-Glass? She is an exemplary professional dancer/ choreographer and a teacher- mother to so many. Mrs. Krystal’s love for the arts is undeniably fruitful with a twist of tough love . She has shaped and molded me not only in the woman I am today but the dancer & I am forever grateful for her.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Ms. Krystal Hall Glass straight out of the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance Ensemble where I met one of the most extraordinary, gifted and talented choreographers. Ms. Krystal enhanced my perspective, encouraging me to utilize the whole entire-stage and dance from my heart (rehearsals were definitely intense lol). I will always cherish and be grateful of those fond memories. Thank you Kristal Hall Glass. Love you always

Ms. Hall-Glass is one of the finest, best trained teachers that I have had the pleasure to observe. Her credentials are exemplary, her technique is impressive and her classroom manner a wonder to behold. She is patient , yet demanding, organized, precise yet flexible and “in the moment” Her classes are in demand because she has the respect of those she teaches.

When I first came to Arts High School , I hated the Graham technique, but Krystal Hall-Glass taught me to absolutely love it! The way she would thoroughly explain things really helped me to excel in my training. If it hadn’t been for Mrs. Hall’s caring nature, I strongly believe I wouldn't have gotten into the Purchase College Conservatory of Dance program. Mrs. Hall-Glass is the perfect teacher to train those who wish to pursue any dance future. And capable she is! I should know, I’ve seen it first -hand.

Ms. Hall possesses qualities unusual to find in the dance world. She is an outstanding teacher as she was an outstanding dancer. Her directorship of the famed Harlem School of the Arts help develop them into a first-class training program where many of her students were able to pass the competitive entrance audition into LaGuardia High School

Over the years I have come to know Krystal personally and professionally . I have come to rely on her expertise and honesty when it comes to young dancer auditioning for the school. When we see an applicant from Krystal there is an immediate recognition of their excellent training. In addition, I have directly observed her teaching at the High school. She is a model of what a teacher should be . She has the ability to teach a thorough and challenging modern class geared to different levels.

Krystal Hall-Glass is truly an amazing woman! When I first met, Krystal, I knew I was standing in the presence of greatness. It was my honor to be in a room with THE Krystal Hall-Glass and to be guided by her wisdom. I had heard stories about her skill and work ethic and witnessed it myself! That was a tremendous gift. I just remember wanting to soak up every word she spoke because I knew I could learn so much from her. A young student would benefit from being coached by Krystal because she is the definition of excellence.”

The largest impression anyone could have on me was Krystal Hall -Glass. She bred an elite group of young men and women, and with dance gave us a strong foundation to accomplish any aspired dance endeavor. Ms. Glass personally showed me that hard work could get me anywhere and everywhere. She gave me a head start to what a real dancer does to be great. I was able to graduate from LaGuardia High School, receive a full scholarship to Boston Conservatory, and was prepared to dance in a company at 20 years old. Thank you Ms. Glass the info was well received and used daily.

When we speak of consummate artist, we are speaking of individuals that have revealed a masterful and virtuosic approach to their craft. When I speak of Krystal Hall-Glass, I speak of a consummate artist. My career as a dancer parallels Krystal and I am blessed for it. To have witnessed Krystal’s body in the creative space is other worldly. For the generations that were not fortunate enough to see her move, all I can offer you is… I’m sorry. She is easily one of the greatest dancers of the 20th century!

Ms. Glass and I paths crossed in 2004 my freshman year of high school. She saw my passion and potential for dance and began to work closely with me and help map out my vision for a career ahead. Because I was still fairly new to dance, Krystal gave me tools and training which allowed me to feel confident to audition for The Ailey School where I received a fellowship for two years. I graciously thank Ms. Krystal Hall- Glass for giving me a chance to live a dream that I didn't know was possible. I am constantly inspired by the leadership and love she continues to display.
Alrick Thomas Dancer / Choreographer
“I love taking class with Krystal! Her classes are fun, engaging, challenging, and soul satisfying. She’s gets me to fully understand a dance step/exercise and how it translates in my body! She pushes me to explore past my comfort zone and give my best, while understanding that my best will change daily and I should adjust accordingly. And she doesn’t just give you permission to DANCE passionately, freely, from a deeper place, she demands that you leave it all out there on the dance floor!
